Why Another Fashion Template?
I'd already built Velour as a full-stack fashion platform. LumaWear is the opposite approach — what if someone doesn't need Razorpay integration, doesn't want to manage a database, and just wants a beautifully designed, instantly deployable storefront?
Most fashion templates on marketplaces fall into two categories: either overly simplistic landing pages, or full-stack monsters that require hours of configuration before you see anything. LumaWear sits in the sweet spot — visually complete, functionally rich, and ready to go in minutes.
Minimal. Intentional. Yours.
That's the brand tagline, and it guided every design decision. LumaWear targets conscious consumers who value quality over quantity — the kind of person who owns 20 carefully chosen pieces rather than 200 fast-fashion items.
The Design Language
The typography pairing tells the whole story: DM Serif Display for headings gives editorial elegance, while Inter for body text delivers clean readability. It's the visual equivalent of a high-end fashion magazine that's actually easy to read.
The color palette is deliberately restrained — near-black primary (#1A1A1A), warm gold accent (#C9A96E), and soft cream backgrounds (#F5F0EB). The stone neutral scale keeps everything warm without being yellow. This palette works equally well in dark mode, which flips to rich near-black backgrounds while keeping the gold accent.
Built for Browsing, Not Just Buying
The shopping experience priorities discovery:
Product Catalog — Grid/list toggle with 6 filter types (category, color, price range, size, rating, sort) and real-time search. Pagination at 12 items per page. This isn't a basic grid — it's a genuinely useful browsing tool.
