Android MDM application with Device Owner capabilities for IoT device management and kiosk mode.
HK AIR started from a need to manage Android tablets deployed as kiosks. Device Owner mode gives complete control over the device.
Built with Kotlin and modern Android architecture. The app can lock devices to specific apps, manage policies remotely, and push OTA updates.
The challenging part was the provisioning flow - getting Device Owner status requires careful handling of the setup wizard and QR code provisioning.
